Where European Chic Meets Southern Style

Tracey Wonnacott in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France

Bonjour, mes amis! I’m Tracey 👋 Francophile, avid traveler, and Owner of Lavender Hill Designs! France has been a favorite place of mine for a long time. As my mother was from England, my family took frequent trips there when I was young to visit our British relatives. Of course, with Paris being so close, we would often make the jump across the channel to the City of Lights, where my passion for French culture began.

About 10 years ago, my husband and I began to make an annual trip to the South of France, where we would spend 2 weeks eating, drinking, shopping and generally discovering the joie de vivre that a life in France offers. We love bringing back clothing, home accents and gifts for ourselves and our nearest and dearest, and one day, the idea of opening my own store bloomed.

LHD was born from a desire to bring together my love of travel with my other love, shopping! With so many wonderful pieces to be found in and around Europe - like artisan accessories from England, beautiful French table linens, and lovely Italian candles, we have collected exceptional pieces for you to shop all in one place. We aim to curate a unique collection of items you're unlikely to find anywhere else, giving you that one-of-a-kind feel that friends and neighbors will envy!

While I love the traditional Southern pieces, I know as well as the next woman that a well-rounded style is all about the statement pieces. At Lavender Hill Designs, we are here to help you make your statement and find that je ne sais quoi to bring joy to your life!

This blog will be about all things travel, fashion, table décor, recipes and more, and each member of our LHD team will be contributing content. We hope you will love what we have planned, but we also want to know what you want to see from us! I will soon be launching a travel segment, and I'm curious: what travel-related questions do you have? Need a travel guide? Tips on packing for European trips? 👇 Let me know in the comments!
